Ollerton is a sleepy hamlet in Shropshire, close to Market Drayton, well known for its street market, shops and eateries, not forgetting the lovely Shropshire Union Canal. The front door opens to the hall, with space for your coats and boots, and into the lounge with feature fireplace with wood burner effect electric fire and comfortable leather sofas. Relax on the sofa, plan your activities for your stay, choose something to read from the bookcase or watch a film on the Smart TV with the glow of the fire. Carry on through to the fabulous kitchen with all the thoughtful little extras creating a lovely space to rustle up a meal. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The dining table takes centre stage by the French doors flooding the room with natural light. There is a WC on the ground floor. Heading upstairs to the first floor is the library landing with rural views and a stylish shower room with WC. Here you will find both bedrooms with exposed beams, choose the king-size with wooden floor and dressing area or the double with thick carpet to sink your feet into.

The barn is one of three properties nestling in the courtyard where there is also the shared orchard with lawn to enjoy al fresco dining at the picnic table, or maybe a BBQ. Private table, chairs and sunshade by the entrance. There is private parking for two cars at the property which is, please note located on a working farm. There is secure lockable bike storage available.

We have been renting cottages for many years but Ewe Barn was by far the best ever. They could not do anything to make it any better. We would give it 12 out of 10.

Ewe Barn was immaculate. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could want. All the furnishings were of the highest standard. We were greeted by Marion and Richard and made to feel very welcome. All in all we had a wonderful stay and will certainly recommend.

Very clean to the details of not even fingerprint marks anywhere. Great spacious location. Large rooms. Every equipment and item made available to feel home. It was more spacious outdoors and inside overall than what I expected based on the pictures on website. Richard and Marion are amazing and very friendly. It was a great 5 day stay. Superb 2 bedroom barn conversion that was spotlessly clean and has all amenities that you could need for either a short holiday stay or for an extended long stay. We booked a 7 day holiday here and it was great. We stayed in Ewe Barn. It was very clean and very comfortable. The location was nice and quiet. We had everything we could possibly need and the cottage was finished to a high standard. The welcome pack was lovely and thoughtful and the hosts were so friendly. Ewe cottage was lovely, in a courtyard with a couple of other cottages. There was plenty of room for parking and for the picnic table each cottage had. Inside the rooms were large, well furnished, and very welcoming at the end of our journey. Everything was clean, well thought out, well equipped and with a homely feeling. Loved this holiday home, very spacious with everything you need. we enjoyed using the DVDs and books, it had comfy beds and was immaculately clean, the water pressure in the shower was superb. What a gem! We stayed in Ewe Barn for a week and had a fantastic time. The cottage was lovely - spotlessly clean, really well appointed, comfy beds and a cosy living room. The hosts are really attentive and informative, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is in a little hamlet with lovely countryside walks on the doorstep. Nearest town is MarRead moreket Drayton which has several supermarkets, a leisure centre and cute cafes. Lots of things to see and do within 40min in all directions. Hide

We would move here if we could! Location is very much off the beaten track. Expect to meet tractors where you need to reverse back to a bigger passing space which all added to the excitement! We had some wonderful recommendations from Richard and Marion on places to visit and we enjoyed all of them. Would recommend Blists Hill, Hoo Zoo and Rednal GRead moreo Karting. The barn was perfect. Clearly well looked after and cared for. My two teenagers were even impressed! A thoroughly well deserved 5 stars! Hide

This is a wonderful property with everything you could ever need. Richard and Marion were brilliant hosts and always available for all we needed. One issue was sorted within the hour which was brilliant. The property is so quiet and set in lovely grounds. We will be rebooking again and would really recommend this spacious property.
