Overall the cottage was rustic and homely and was perfect for our weeks stay. Derek and his wife still have beef cattle on the farm. We both enjoyed being opposite the their winter housing an to see them going out to their summer pasture during our time of stay. I am a farmers daughter myself from a small farm so it was a real joy for me being therRead moree. The location is stunning the Wrekin and South Shropshire hills in the distance views all around. It was a 20 minute easy drive from my sister who lives near Atcham Park. We definitely intend to return We lo Hide

Great place to stay, very welcoming and snug. Loved seeing the cows from our window, and good walking from the door. So many lovely towns to explore, our favourites were Ludlow and Much Wenlock. The local pub in Leighton was also very welcoming and the walk back was welcome after a very hearty, well cooked meal.

We absolutely loved our stay here over new year. The cottage is cosy and comfortable, and there was plenty of space for the two of us as well as our two large dogs to sprawl out of the floor. The kitchen was well equipped enough for us to cook our own meals, and the nearest shops weren't too far by car. Waking up in the morning and seeing the cows Read morehaving their breakfast right outside the window was a joy! We would definitely stay again to explore more of the beautiful Shropshire. Hide

Nice little cottage and very comfy for 2 people and our French Bulldog, Elsie. A bit of a bumpy road up to the farm so take care. The cottage has everything you need. Cannot comment on the owners as we didnt see them. Make sure to take things such as teabags, sugar, coffee and milk with you.
