Set within the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this countryside retreat is nestled among the rolling fields of the owner’s farm, with far-reaching views across the Washburn Valley. It’s a superb location for walkers, with a wealth of scenic routes beginning right from the door and the beautiful Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs less than 1 mile away. Despite its peaceful setting, a range of attractions are close at hand, including Otley (3 miles), an atypical historic Yorkshire market town offering all the modern conveniences, with three supermarkets and a wide choice of cafés, pubs and restaurants. The elegant spa town of Harrogate lies only 9 miles away, while the vibrant city of Leeds, with its excellent shopping and dining, is just 15 miles from the property. Further afield, enjoy days out at Bolton Abbey (13 miles), Fountains Abbey (18 miles) and Brimham Rocks (10 miles).

Step inside through wide sliding doors and into a breathtaking open-plan living space where light and countryside views take centre stage. The lounge area is designed for relaxation, with sumptuous sofas and a wood burner adding warmth and atmosphere on cooler evenings. Flowing seamlessly from here is the beautifully well-proportioned kitchen, fully equipped for your stay and centred around a generous dining table where family and friends can gather in comfort. On the ground floor you’ll also find a spacious, contemporary bathroom with shower and WC, while the true highlight awaits in the garden room – a private hot tub offering the ultimate place to unwind and soak away the day. Upstairs, two inviting king-size bedrooms are finished in natural wood cladding, creating a cosy alpine-lodge feel. Low, sloping ceilings enhance the sense of intimacy, making these rooms ideal for a romantic escape.

Outside, a lawned garden and patio area provide the perfect setting for outdoor dining or relaxed evenings, complete with comfortable seating and a barbecue. Far-reaching views across the Washburn Valley create a stunning backdrop, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful countryside.

Perfect location for spending our days out, brand new property, clean and well equipped. Very welcoming, perfect relaxing atmosphere. Whereas the owner left us to enjoy our holiday in private she was always easily available if we had any questions. Loved having a chance to say hello to friendly horses. Highly recommend
