The cottage is in a marvellous position, very quiet with a lovely garden and views. The cottage is clean with a very well equipped kitchen. Just be warned, the roads to it are very narrow, although there is virtually no traffic on them!! We would definitely like to visit again.

We loved the cottage and it's location, and the owner was on hand for any issue we could have had. She very kindly provided a step for my Mum to assist her in getting in to/out of the shower, as she has mobility issues. Just to be aware that there are 2 steps down from the parking area to the front door and one into the property. It is down a narroRead morew lane with passing spaces, and you do need to turn right at Egypt Cottage, but we had no problems getting to/from the property. Hide

We had a lovely stay here in August and would book again. Peaceful location with bats to watch in evening and great sunsets. Close to local attractions. Loads of space for the children. 4 year old loved the tractors! Very clean, spacious cottage with friendly owners. Watch upstairs window with small children- opens at floor level! Well be back! Hide

We had a great week in Huish barn, it was a central location which meant the beaches, steam train, castle, pubs and takeaway were all within 15 minutes drive. If you went a little further you could walk on Exmore or go to the Exmore poney center.

A great barn conversion in a beautiful setting. We were a party of seven (two children) and there was plenty of space and bathroom provision. Ideal for a tranquil walking break, also convenient for beaches and local sites, with Dunster Castle, the heritage steam railway and many other things to do within easy reach. Plenty of eating options in WatcRead morehet or nearby country pubs. No hesitation in recommending. Very homely (delicious home-made cake on arrival) and the friendly owners are next door. Hide

We loved the location and property. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and the cake on arrival was a lovely touch. The property is located up a very narrow single track road, which might be an issue for some, but the views of rolling fields and ability to walk in the hills surrounding the property made up for it. The venue details warn of limRead moreited internet connection, which was the case for us, so you do need to be prepared to hotspot to watch TV if thats the case. Hide

A really well appointed, super place to stay. Be aware it is in the countryside, along a short single track lane but we never met any other traffic. Good, hot showers - needed after days walking; comfy beds; kitchen well equipped. Really can't find any fault with Huish Barn.

A beautiful home for our special holiday. The set up was perfect, with a disable mum who turned 80 while on holiday, 2 young adults and myself and partner had everything we needed. The lack of internet and phone was quite cathartic and meant I could thoroughly relax. I could always get on line but had to be in a certain part of the house. It just mRead moreeant I could spend more time with family making memories. Highly recommended. Loads to do around the Area. Great owners. We will return. Hide
