Tucked away on the edge of the owners' working farm, enjoy delightful views over the surrounding countryside. The area is an absolute paradise for walkers and cyclists, with a wealth of tracks and trails through the stunning countryside from the doorstep, and the Dales Way is accessed in just 0.5 miles. The picturesque village of Bolton Abbey is within 1 mile away where you can visit the ruins of the 12th-century Augustinian priory, set on the banks of the River Wharfe. For a spot of retail therapy, visit the nearby towns of Ilkley or Skipton, both 6 miles away, with a range of independent shops, bars, and cafes. Harrogate spa town, within 16 miles is also worth a visit.

This beautiful 18th-century cottage has been wonderfully restored and redesigned, maintaining many stunning original features that have been paired with luxurious touches throughout to create an unforgettable holiday accommodation. Step straight into the utility room where you can leave your muddy boots after a day exploring the beautiful countryside that surrounds you. Feel the delight of the underfloor heating warming your toes as you step down into the fantastic open-plan living space. The light and pleasant sitting room is a delightful space to unwind in, with a cosy wood burner set in a beautiful hearth, a Smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating. There's a welcoming dining area boasting a charming wooden table and the kitchen is stylishly designed and fully equipped with everything you may need. When it is time to retire for the evening, head up the staircase past the impressive crook beams and find yourself in one of the two sumptuous bedrooms; one double and one king-size. Completing the interior is a magnificent family bathroom boasting a roll-top bath where you can relax, unwind and plan your activities for the next day ahead.

At the front of the property is a lovely, enclosed patio that wraps around the cottage. With plenty of seating to relax and indulge in a glass of your favourite tipple whilst enjoying the beautiful countryside views and farmland that surround you. Faultless! The place was immaculately clean. I love the no shoes rule as I could relax knowing the carpet was safe for my little boy to sit and play on. I overpacked as I wasnt sure what exactly was provided in the cottage. Toiletries, cleaning products, hairdryer and a selection of toys & games were all provided. Fantastic host, fantastic location. Everything you could possibly need in the cottage. Within walking distance of Bolton Abbey along a pathway. We did this with a 5 and an 8 years old so definitely recommend for families.

Would highly recommend a visit to Norwood Cottage. The location is quiet but convenient to Bolton Abbey, Skipton and Ilkley. The property is furnished and equipped to a very high standard which should ensure a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of Yorkshire.

Carol was such a lovely woman told us to ring her so she could let us in and she was there to great use. The welcome pack was so nice with home made flatjacks so very nice. This was the most amazing cottage and our hosts were brilliant, even providing a delicious locally made gluten free cake, which was such a special touch.
