The cottage is on a working farm in the middle of the countryside with lots of nice walks. It was lovely to relax in the large hot tub under the stairs. The cottage is kitted out with more than enough equipment including an air fryer, dish washer, washing machine and microwave. In the bedroom is a large wardrobe and a chest of drawers andRead more a very comfy four oster bed. We were not disturbed by the farm noise in the mornings. There is a nice cafe a short walk down the road. There is a pub a mile down the road however we found that we couldn't walk to the pub as there is no path. The local shop is a few minutes drive down the road. There are lots of historical sites to visit nearby and it is just a 30 minute drive through the beautiful countryside to the Scottish border viewpoint. Overall it's a lovely farm cottage in the beautiful Northumberland countryside. Ideal for dog walking and historical visits; and if you don't mind a drive to the local amenities. Hide
