Keen mountaineers will enjoy the hike up Ben Cruachan, accessible 15 miles away, whilst those looking for a livelier day out can head to Oban (14 miles) for restaurants and bars. Here you'll also find a historic whisky distillery for tours and samples.
Head inside and find an entrance with plenty of space to hang coats and leave muddy boots.
