Great place to stay if you appreciate peace and quiet. Pitch black if you like star gazing on a clear night and cosy and warm inside thanks to the generosity of the owners central heating and wood burning stove with unlimited log supply (this was February). We had a beautiful Autumn week at Tarabuckle. Excellent location for exploring Glen Clova. The cottage was very well equipped and had lots of logs to keep the lounge cosy and warm. The beds were all comfy and the layout worked well for grandparents to stay with us. The hosts were very helpful and nearby if needed.

Wow, the location is amazing, we would never tire of the views across the valley and so peaceful. Just the noise of the sheep and birds. Very comfortable beds so we all slept well. Fantastic location, cottage extremely comfortable and well equipped, but the big plus was the garden was absolutely secure, and the dogs had a ball. In this case, "secure garden" meant just that.

Ideal cottage for 2 of us for a week with our daughters for the weekend, along with our active dog. Didn't need much input from the owners but what input we did have was friendly and helpful. Great laid back approach--- e.g. please don't bring / buy logs, use what is there. We really enjoyed and hopefully will return sometime
