We had a fabulous family holiday with 9 adults and 2 dogs. Great space both inside and out. Outside sheltered areas were fantastic for both the sun and rain. Hot tub was fab as was the sauna.

Finding circa 100 dead flies behind the curtains is unacceptable, along with a leaking kitchen sink, a rear door that would not lock without a significant amount of manual lifting, a freezer that hasnt been cleaned in who knows how long, dirty windows and heating that was hit and miss as to when it came on and the main bedroom that was like an ice Read morebox. Really unacceptable for the amount paid. Hide

Lovely building. Very comfortable and in a lovely location. The garden centre is a short walk away and does OUTSTANDING coffee. We loved the facilities on offer and will look to book in warmer climate to make the best use of the outside space.

We had a great time, but it was very expensive for what it was really. The super early check out on Sunday meant that it felt really rushed. Also, for that kind of money, I would have expected better quality towels and bedding at the very least.

It is a beautiful place in a great location. It does need a little TLC in a few areas and some added extras would have been helpful (a hairdryer!), but be aware when booking this property that they take 500 from you at the time you make the final payment. This is a refundable deposit which many properties do, but in this instance, the money is takeRead moren TWO MONTHS before even arriving, and not returned until a good week after the holiday. We had a girls weekend & had a fab time, the hot tub & table football were well used. The bedrooms are comfy & the kitchen is very well equipped. Would recommend walking to a pub called the Glasshouse Inn; lovely walk there & great food in an old characterful pub. Barn is in good location but feel the barn is bit tired as items like taps not fitted properly and move. Cooker frustrating to work as no markings on it. Needs a good update.

We had a great girls weekend away at The Rusty Barn. The house is beautiful and really well equipped. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. Beds were comfy and as a group of 9 we had lots of space. Would also highly recommend the private chef company that were recommended to us by the owners of the barn.

What a fabulous place for a family get- together. We had a pre Christmas celebration with 9 adults, two young children and three dogs. Very safe with a lockable gate to stop the dogs and toddler escaping. We made good use of the hot tub and sauna and cooked in each night. Good space for us all in such a beautiful area too.

The Rusty Barn gave us a wonderful renunion family holiday. Adults and children loved it (3,5 and 11 year olds). The football table and Hot tub were a great hit. The table tennis table was usable but the equipment needs updating. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped for 9 - 10. There is ample space both in the living accommodation and within Read morethe plot for everyone including the dog (secure fencing and grass area). Noisy neighbours (not respecting signs) dealt with by the owners. Hide
