Nice property which is well maintained. Potential customers should be aware that the stairs are steep and would be an issue for the less able bodied. fixed hand rail on one side does not go all the way to the top and the other rail is a rope.

A beautiful, peaceful place for a week walking from the door, riding the steam railway, and leaving your car behind. It was easy to escape the crowds - hardly anyone up on the fells. Waking up to that view with the sound of the beck running nearby will stay with us for a long time. The beds are comfy with good quality linen.
