A high quality barn conversion set in a tranquil courtyard in the heart of Devon. Situated on a small beef and sheep farm, it’s the perfect spot for families, walkers and nature lovers alike. The quaint village of Payhembury is a short walk away via country lanes and is home to a pub and community shop. Adjoining a second similar barn, a private pathway and three steps lead up to the main entrance. Enter into the spacious hallway with WC and separate utility room with washer/dryer, which leads into the bright and airy lounge/diner. The inviting lounge area has a wood burner making it the perfect place to unwind in front of the TV or watch a DVD after a day spent exploring. Leading on from here, is the stylish kitchen area which is well-equipped with luxury appliances, including a range style electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. Enjoying beautiful views over the rolling hills and the accommodation arranged to get the best out of them, you can be sure to enjoy a culinary masterpiece here. Heading down a flight of stairs you will find a spacious king-size bedroom with en-suite shower and WC, a further king-size bedroom is adjacent, with en-suite wet room, with shower and WC. Heading on from here is a king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request), and a further twin room. Shared between the bedrooms is a stylish bathroom, with freestanding bath, separate shower and WC.

Heading outside from the first floor kitchen or hallway via a flight of external steps, you will find a generous private, enclosed garden with wonderful views, patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. Located directly outside the barn, it’s the ideal spot for a meal alfresco. To the rear of the property, accessed via a hallway on the ground floor, there is a communal courtyard and children's play area shared with one other property. There is off-road parking for four cars within the adjacent parking area.

We had a fabulous 3 generation family holiday with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The upside down accommodation was superb and all top quality. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We all loved staying here 7 people in 3 generational family and Border Collie puppy. Lots to do around area, beautifully kept farm, safe enclosed garden for puppy, and helpful hosts. Hope to come again.

What a wonderful place to stay. In the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside on a working farm, but close enough to all beaches and amenities. Spotlessly clean, comfortable property with everything you could possibly need. Wonderful hosts. The farm sausages were delicious. Wonderful holiday home with everything you need.Beds and bedrooms were very comfortable and everything was spotless. A good base for exploring the area. The grand children loved meeting the animals and feeding them and enjoyed the eggs for breakfast. The cream tea was an added bonus. Would definitely love to come back.

The barn is beautiful with a well equipped kitchen, stunning living space and comfortable bedrooms. We were welcomed with a generous cream tea and mesmerised by the busy house martins feeding their young just outside the window. We couldnt have asked for more and will hopefully return.

First class spacious accommodation in a lovely setting. Tallet is an excellent barn conversation with lots of original features and sympathetic furnishings. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living accommodation. We loved staying on a working farm and it was lovely to have lambs in the next field. Our stay at Tallet was honestly faultless. The property itself is beautifully decorated and is kitted out brilliantly. The bedrooms are all a great size and the beds were super comfy! We were spoilt with our surroundings and despite the wind and rain we massively enjoyed our walk from Tallet, through the copse and down the fields to the little beacRead moreh. Stunning barn conversion set in the village of Peyhembury. We where a group of eight adults celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. The peace of the countryside offered a welcome break for each and everyone one of us. We had the best stay at tallet barn, as a large family it was perfect and extremely spacious. The hosts were fabulous and friendly, they made us feel extremely welcome and did everything to make are stay as good as it could be. We would love to return.
