A delightful spacious cottage and surroundings, tucked away in the countryside. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. So lovely to be around the animals and to see the cows being milked. Great walks for the dogs from the farmhouse. We would thoroughly recommend this farming friendly family.

A beautiful cottage, lovely location but the Satnav gets confused and isn't reliable unless you look for Lympscott farm and not Beehive cottage. The country lanes however are very poor being full of pott holes so take care once off the A39. The cottage offers all the facilities you need even an air fryer. Very comfortable beds and lovely clean toweRead morels and bedding. A nice touch offering logs for the log burner in the lounge when the season is still chilly. Local shops are nearby in Kilkhampton but if you prefer large supermarkets be prepared to travel. The walk across the farm land to The Tamar lakes is wonderful and only takes about 10 minutes, other wise it is a trek in the car or hours of walking. Beaches however are not within walking distance. It was a nice touch having the farm route sign posted from the lake on the trees for the trek back through the short cut. If you are looking for a peaceful out in the country retreat then this it. Even though it is a working farm the noise of the farm itself is not a problem. It is a lovely place. Hide

Friendly hosts. Comfortable accommodation, but watch your head on the beams upstairs. Not the fault of the property but the lanes getting there are terrible - add an extra 5 mins on to your journey to go anywhere or get back. We expected it as its on a dairy farm, but if you have a sense of smell, dont expect to enjoy sitting outside. In March thisRead more wasnt really a problem as it was a bit chilly anyway. Hide

Beehive Cottage was just lovely. It was equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of space for us and our dog. Location on the farm was lovely and surprisingly very quiet, the mooing cows just added to the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. Lovely walks and easy access to Tamar Lakes where there's a lovely cafe. Our dRead moreog loved it as she was off lead the whole time. Lovely cottage owners available if we needed anything. We had a fantastic time at beehive cottage, the cottage is super clean, beds are comfortable, towels, bedding and logs for the fire are included. This was our 2nd visit to the cottage and I'm sure it won't be our last, would love to get enough people together to be able to stay in the bugger cottage on site too, it looks stunning.

The cottage was exactly what you would expect from a farm house cottage. Had a well equipped and large kitchen. Sitting room was cosy, upstairs was quirky with low beams and sloping ceilings. Really enjoyed our stay

Beehive Cottage was well equipped in general, very clean and well-prepared for us. There are two cattle grids into the residential area of the overall farm. The inner one of these needs attention as it seems there is some subsidence right by it causing quite a bump for the car.
