This stunning property is one of two, set at the end of a 0.75-mile private drive, which winds its way through the owner's 700-acre dairy farm. This wonderful location sets you perfectly for exploring North Devon. You’ll be just over a mile from the market town of Bideford, while the popular surfing beach of Westward Ho! and the sand dunes of Instow are only 5.5 miles and 4 miles away by car respectively. The charming fishing village of Appledore (6 miles) is well worth a visit too. The area’s attractions include The Big Sheep, Tapeley Park and The Milky Way, all within 9 miles. Visit the beautiful, cobbled, privately owned seaside village of Clovelly (11 miles away), with its enchanting cottages and pretty harbour where you can sit and enjoy some local seafood or a homemade pasty.

Access the kitchen and lounge/diner via a couple of steps down from the hallway and you’ll find a well-equipped space with an oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The combined lounge/diner offers a cosy space to relax after a day of exploring. There is a TV/DVD player and a wood burner in the lounge area, with the dining room table just behind this. There is also a handy WC accessed from the hallway, and underfloor heating throughout the downstairs. The double bedroom with TV/DVD with en-suite shower room can be found on the ground floor too. Upstairs, most of the rooms enjoy the fabulous view across the estuary, with the king-size bedroom also offering a TV/DVD player. A twin room and a family-size bathroom with shower over bath and WC complete this floor.

Outside is where you can truly soak up the views and enjoy the shared lawn with play equipment for little ones. If you enjoy a good walk, you can head across the fields and join the Tarka Trail directly from the owners’ land. There is ample private parking available.

A lovely holiday home. The welcome of flowers, wine and a cream tea much appreciated. Peaceful. Views across the river and surrounding area beautiful. Convenient for visiting local gardens and RHS Rosemoor.

An absolutely amazing view and very quiet. Incredibly comfortable and very toasty! Location was great - just a few miles out of Bideford. Owners were very welcoming! Perfect size for 6 of us, with one couple downstairs.

Problem with the mains supply out of the control of the owners to both properties one day which was resolved quickly. Had a lovely week in April cottage, beautiful views, clear skies and cosy evenings, well be back with the whole family in the larger property - cant wait!

When you're driving along the farm track to the cottage, don't be put off - it really is there! A left turn down a steep hill and you arrive. The cottage is scrupulously clean, appropriately equipped, very comfortable and nicely laid out. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location and excellent accommodation for 6 of us. It's got a large living/ diner room and a well equipped kitchen. It was very clean and comfortable. It was about 28C when we arrived and it has no air conditioning. The rooms were uncomfortably warm at night but it cooled down the last few nights and all was well again.
