We really enjoyed our time at Ty-Cookes cottage. The setting is stunning, with mountains and greenery just steps away, making it perfect for a peaceful break. James and Sarah are both very nice people; despite it being a lastminute booking, they accepted the booking and arranged for the cleaners at short notice, and even called to let us know we could check in earlier than expected. Lovely cottage, the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into making it a good place to stay. One think that particularly pleased me was the quality of the mattresses; which enabled me to sleep comfortably and pain free.

Our stay at Cookes Cottage near Pontypool was excellent. The Cottage was well located close to the walking areas that we were interested in. The cottage itself was large with pleasant surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are thinking of returning next year.
