And for music lovers, the popular Green Man Festival takes place just 2.5 miles from your door, ideal for those who don’t fancy camping.

Filled to the brim with traditional charm, this converted barn combines both original elements and contemporary style. Head inside via the vast glass doors and take in the spacious entrance hall. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped, with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. An oak dining table provides plenty of space for six to dine together. Continuing through the property, you’ll find the large lounge with sumptuous leather sofas to sink into after a long day of activities, enjoy a film on the TV/DVD and for cooler evenings settle in front of the blazing wood burner. Completing this floor is a cloakroom with WC. Heading upstairs via the handmade oak staircase are three bedrooms with sloping ceilings which are beautifully presented with original oak beams and wooden floorboards. The master bedroom is a double with a dressing table as well as an en-suite with shower and WC. The twin bedroom is perfect for children, and a final king-size room offers a versatile zip-and-link bed. Finally, you’ll find a family bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and WC, the perfect spot for a soak after a long walk.

To the rear of the property, you’ll find a delightful private courtyard, fully furnished with an outdoor dining set and a BBQ for warm summer evenings. The cottage is 1 of 3 on a farm. The single track in did have potholes. The house was comfortable, dining area tight for 4. An up-to-date info folder would have been useful, the current one is from covid days. The brambles/hedge had been left to get out of control and obstructed the view. A note to holiday cottages did get that partially sorted. ThRead moreere was rubbish in the corner of the yard. My comment to the owner & Holiday Cottages would be update the photos regularly. Hide

We had an absolutely amazing holiday! The cottage was stunning and spotlessly clean, with breathtaking views. Theres so much to see and do in the surrounding area, and we made the most of every moment. We had such a wonderful time thank you so much!

The cottage itself was lovely - comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, very clean. Clean ironing board and iron too! Contacts were helpful and friendly. The cottage was at the end of a long, single track farm track w/two gates to be opened/closed and potholes near the end, so be prepared.

Beautiful view, lovely comfortable cottage and owner very helpful with any issues. Great for a quiet and peaceful holiday and lots around to visit within about 30 min, such as Hay on Wye (Town of books), Raglan Castle and farm park, Abergavenny which also has a castle, Crickhowell, and Tretower Court and Castle. Would definitely recommend.
