Second visit and doesnt disappoint! Hunkered down in Storm Dave and had a fantastic rest of the week! Love the peacefulness that is literally on the doorstep!

What an amazing place! So peaceful and quiet. We had a lovely few days here, great places to eat nearby and lovely walks from the front door and further afield! Log burner was great on the cold evenings, the cottage is so snug and warm! Would 100% recommend booking you wont be disappointed!

We had a wonderful break with our dog. The cottage was warm, comfortable and welcoming. Ideally situated and we had plenty to do and see. We needed a break away from all the hustle and that's what we had. Our hosts were great, very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. Well equipped kitchen area, and comfy beds in the downstairs bedrooms. The upstairs living area offers a fantastic view across the countryside. Would definitely use this cottage as a base again when we visit the area again.

The Stables at Greenwell Farm is a lovely property, with the kitchen and living/dining room upstairs it really makes the most of the beautiful views over the Weardale. Its very peaceful and the paddock was perfect for our dogs to run around in the morning. We had a lovely stay at The Stables. The house is lovely! It has brilliant views from the windows and has an excellent dog walk straight from the door.
