The cottage was spotless and very comfortable. The living room was very spacious, very restful after a day of exploring. A lot of thought had been given to making sure guests were well taken care of. Outside the gardens were ideal for sitting with a cuppa enjoying the surroundings & with plenty of walking routes nearby, the dog had a lovely time. WRead moree would happily recommend this property to anyone looking for a really relaxing holiday. Hide

We recently stayed at this lovely cottage and had a really comfortable, relaxing experience overall. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making the property both welcoming and well-equipped. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tidy, with high-quality wooden furniture that gave it a warm, homely feel. The lRead moreiving space was particularly impressivelarge, peaceful, and furnished with a very comfortable sofa, making it a great place to unwind. There were also plenty of options for dining, including a dining table in the lounge and a built-in bench area in the kitchen. The kitchen itself was extremely well stockedone of the best-equipped weve come across. It even included a bread maker, along with a clean oven and all the essentials you could need. The welcome hamper was a really thoughtful touch, with fresh bread, eggs, biscuits, jam, Taylors of Harrogate ground coffee, Belgian chocolate truffles, and plum breadsuch a nice way to start the stay. The bedrooms were peaceful and comfortable, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The bathrooms were excellent, featuring a spacious shower with strong water pressure and adjustable settings, as well as precise temperature control. The provision of good-quality toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and bubble bath) was appreciated, along with practical extras like sanitary disposal bags and even good-quality toilet paper. The only downside for us was that the mattress in the larger ensuite bedroom wasnt particularly comfortable, which was a bit of a shame given how lovely the rest of the space was. The cottage was clearly designed with comfort in mindthere was a great heating system that was easy to adjust, and we were never cold during our stay. Big towels, ample hanging space with both hangers and open racks, and clear instructions provided under the coffee table all added to the ease and convenience. Outside, the property is set in a quiet, peaceful countryside location with lovely gardens and plenty of walking routes nearby. Parking was straightforward and convenient. There were also extra logs, kindling, and matches available, which made using the fire easy and enjoyable. The WiFi worked well throughout the stay, which is always a bonus in a rural setting. The only minor drawback for us was that the patio is north-facing, so it doesnt get much sun. However, this didnt take away from what was otherwise a fantastic stay. Overall, this is a beautifully maintained, peaceful cottage with excellent facilities and thoughtful touches throughout. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside getaway. Hide

My family and I had a very nice stay at Wold cottage on Wellspring Farm. The cottage was clean and the owners had left us an assortment of goods for when we arrived. I was most impressed with the speed at which the owners (despite being away on holiday themselves) got back to me with any queries I had and ensured they were fully resolved. They alsoRead more generously waived our EV charging fees due to a planned power outage that was out of their control. The grounds were really nice and well maintained. Hide

Lovely cottage. Quiet location. Did not meet other visitors in communal areas at all so it was like having a huge garden all to ourselves. Dog loved the long walks from the end of the drive. Welcome package with local goods was very well received.

Out of the way, quiet and restful stay. Cottage had everything we needed and was extremely clean and well appointed with a useful range of equipment. Welcome pack was a real delight and didn't last long! Super dog walks through the nearby forest.

Fabulous cottage, with large rooms, especially the master and great en-suites. Had all the amenities that you could require and situated in a quiet, secluded area. Very close to great walks straight from the cottage and only a short drive to an array of towns/villages and activities. We have already booked again for next year.

A spacious, comfortable and pleasant accommodation in a lovely setting. A bit remote, but readily accessible with good roads. The on-site owners did not bother us, but were very helpful and pleasant when needed.
