Peaceful area, no road noise, no planes, just beautiful countryside noises, birdsong and chicken clucks, quiet lanes to wander. The cottage is in a perfect location for a quiet safe retreat.

The property needed a deep clean we were very disappointed. Stain on the wall as you walked in, floors skirting boards dirty. If you allow dogs into the property then the carpets should be heavily hoovered. No instructions book on how to use showers. Needed to pull cord to get hot water and shower to work. The games room/bar was so disgustingly dirRead morety, it looked like a dumping ground, boards stacked up against wall. Not the standard we expected. Hide

Cottage in a beautiful position and had everything we needed in it, the games room a bonus. It could do with a few minor improvements/maintenance in certain areas but when asked for extra towels/bath mats we were supplied very quickly. A constant dripping tap wasn't attended to but it wasn't a problem to us. It's a working farm so be prepared for cRead morehickens roaming around and loose dogs There were 6 of us so not enough seating for us all in the lounge but ok as played games in kitchen Hide

There was no information or welcome pack. On day two the games room was double booked. We should have been informed about this at the booking stage. We also discovered that our fridge freezer was not in the cottage but in the games room. On arrival the cleaning had not been completed. Basic concerns about guests were not taken seriously. These happRead moreenings detracted from our stay. When we met with the owners they were apologetic and did empty the bins but no recompense was offered. Hide
