This attractive barn conversion, just outside Wymondham, situated down a private track on a working farm with cattle grazing and abundant wildlife, offers peace and solitude for those wishing to escape the hectic pace of life. It is surrounded by glorious countryside and looks out onto two ponds. It is ideally positioned to explore all that Norfolk has to offer, and only a few miles from the market town of Wymondham where you can browse many of the Tudor shop windows, or enjoy coffee looking out onto the pretty market square.

A 20 minute walk along riverside footpaths takes you to the market town of Wymondham for shops, restaurants and pubs. Wymondham abbey is on route into the town; known as one of the finest and most interesting historic churches in East Anglia. Other amenities include a leisure centre with swimming pool and nearby there are privately owned fishing lakes at Barford with day tickets available. The quieter seaside resorts of Southwold and Aldeburgh can be reached within an hour or the famous Broads, for day boat hire, are within easy reach. The fine city of Norwich with theatres, a castle, museums and a cathedral is only 9 miles away, and easy accessible by the 19th Century train station in Wymondham.

On entering the property on the ground floor a  Lounge/diner: attractive room with Flatscreen TV with built in DVD player, wood burner and french doors to the patio. Kitchen: with washing machine, fridge/freezer, range oven and microwave. A bedroom with  Zip and Link bed which can be presented as a twin or as a King size bed on request. Bathroom with shower. The stairs leading to an open landing with seating area, there is a  double bedroom with en-suite WC and a further double bedroom.  Outside: garden with two ponds and patio with seating and BBQ.

Please note dogs must be kept on a lead and are not permitted upstairs in the property.

A gem of a place. Feels very rural but only 3 minute drive from Wymondham. Lovely surroundings between a wildflower meadow and a stream. Lots of wildlife to look for, we saw rabbits, squirrels and deer along with plentiful birds. Barn was very well equipped had absolutely everything you could ever need. Beautiful outdoor space. No WiFi. Surrounded by a lovely bio-diverse environment with varied wildlife. Fantastic location, so peaceful with views across the fields. There are deer, rabbits, pheasants and various birds to watch. Close to Wymondham which is a lovely quaint town with the beautiful Abbey, well worth a visit. Had a great holiday lovely and peaceful, sat outside in the mornings saw Deer, Rabbits, Fox, Pheasants, an Owl and lots of assorted birds. Stunning property and fully equipped by the lovely owners with everything you need for the perfect holiday set in great country side with dear and wildlife right outside the window this was our second stay and we enjoyed ourselves so much we extended by another 7 nights. Loved the tranquility and countryside surrounding Chapel Barn. Comfortable and home from home. Could have stayed a lot longer. Loved it and wish I could be there now!
