We had a lovely stay. Applebarn/honeycrisp is spacious, light, airy & very peaceful.15mins from Glastonbury, supermarkets & clarks village. The onsite honesty shop has all the essentials & lots of goodies. The addition of a downstairs shower room is a bonus after using the hot tub or a wet, muddy walk. The cottage is generally clean but lacked atteRead morention to detail e.g. food drips on a couple of kitchen doors, scale/soap scum on bath taps, tile grout & especially the underside of the shower controls. We also found some dog fur in clumps downstairs. Bedding was very creased & towels were no longer white which spoils the overall impression & let's it down. WiFi was reliable & fast enough. The property is well equipped but no small chopping knife only bread size ones which are too big for general use. So perhaps take your own along with cleaning products such as washing up liquid, surface spray, scourer etc as there wasn't anything apart from a small cloth for washing up despite the welcome book saying there were items under the sink. The hot tub is lovely (especially after walking to the Tor & back which took approx an hour each way) & it's in a nice enclosed garden but overlooked by the neighbouring property & the grass could have done with a cut. This is an honest review with a few negatives but all are superficial points that are easily rectified. They didn't put us off as we would stay again without hesitation. Hide
