A stylish lodge-style retreat, this exquisite eco hideaway promises total relaxation. Tucked away in a farm setting in tranquil Cheshire East, 0.5 miles from Alpraham and 4 miles from Tarporley, the stylish, one-bedroom getaway sleeps just two adult guests. Strike out from here on foot or by bicycle to discover your verdant surroundings. Stroll 1.5 miles to wander alongside the Shropshire Union Canal. Venture approximately 6 miles to connect with the 34-mile Sandstone Trail or head 5 miles to Little Budworth Country Park for glorious heath and woodland walks. Delamere Forest, 11.5 miles from the lodge, is also known for its leafy trails. Plan a day out to the historic, walled city of Chester, 14.5 miles away, to potter in its independent shops, dine out and explore the cathedral and Roman amphitheatre. The charming, medieval market town of Nantwich, 7 miles away, is also a perfect place for afternoon tea.

Make your way into this unique retreat to find a holiday home that has been designed to sit sympathetically within its rural surroundings. Discover accommodation that provides a calm, restorative experience and an interior featuring natural and locally inspired materials where possible. Employing sheep’s wool insulation and infrared heating, this cosy lodge also promotes a true connection with nature. Feel the weight of the world lift from your shoulders as you sink into the calming ambience of the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. The abundance of wood brings the outdoors inside, while the curved ceiling offers a sense of space. Return from your walks to prepare tasty meals in the kitchenette, then dine together at the breakfast bar as you gaze out over the fields. Make fresh coffee in the machine to sip as you settle down to a film on the Smart TV. Treat yourself to a steaming hot soak under the rainfall head in the adjoining shower room, which features a handcrafted stone sink, before ambling over to the comfortable king-size bed for a perfect night’s sleep.

Carry your breakfast outside to enjoy in the fresh air on fine summer mornings. Sway into pure relaxation with the outdoor hammock - a spot to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the breeze. Share a bottle of wine at the bistro table out here too, on warm evenings. Light the firepit and gaze up at the stars on clear nights.

During your stay, take a moment to slow down and indulge in a relaxing treatment with our on‑site spa therapist. Whether you’re craving a soothing massage or a little pampering after a long day, it’s all right here waiting for you. And if you’re celebrating something special, the owner is more than happy to help arrange a personalised surprise to make your occasion truly unforgettable.

This is superbly situated whether you need the city life or indeed for walkers and some rural relaxing life. We did both and will most certainly return. With the owner operating a spa business, this property has it all. It is bijou and tucked away with beautiful views.
