Escape with your loved ones to this peaceful single-storey cottage sitting on a working farm just outside of the tranquil village of Selattyn. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms, it’s perfect for families or groups of friends in search of a stylish dwelling to call home while they explore the stunning Shropshire countryside together. Spend a happy morning discovering the peaceful trails at Selattyn Hills (1 mile), or for a more challenging hike, head to Offa’s Dyke Path (1.5 miles), which runs along the historic border between England and Wales. Alternatively, discover the Iron Age defences and incredible views at Oswestry Hillfort (2.5 miles). Also close by is the market town of Oswestry, the village of Chirk with its castle, Llangollen, and both Chester and Shrewsbury, all of which are easily accessible by both rail and road. Gobowen train station is also close by (2 miles).

On arrival at the cottage you have your own private driveway and parking area, which comfortably accommodates several vehicles. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by an inviting modern lounge area with a wood burner, surrounded by comfortable and elegant sofas so everyone can relax together after a day of exploring the countryside. Make yourself at home in the warm, welcoming space, with the the kitchen on hand for preparing everything from relaxed breakfasts to hearty evening meals. Great Bungalow with plenty room and lovely garden including the hot tub addition. We loved waking up to the cows, shame they went to higher field after the morning so we couldn't see them anymore :)

Stunning little find,set in its own grounds surrounded by fields which are occupied by their own livestock, lovely to wake up to each morning. Located less than 3 miles from the centre of Oswestry which is a lovely town and worth a visit. The local pub " The Docks" is within 1 miles walk and serves local homemade food is also worth a visit, bookinRead moreg is recommended. Hot tub was well used by all and added a little extra relaxation to our weekend. Gill the host was very welcoming,nothing was to much trouble, they have covered everything you could possibly want and more. I would highly recommend this lovely bungalow to anyone and is suitable for all families of any age! We will be back, thank you xx Hide

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property. The size and facilities were great for us, a family of four with two older teens. Everything was in show-home condition, beautifully presented and the brand new hot tub was a bonus too. The host had gone above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. If you want something in a peaceful and traRead morenquil setting but with all the creature comforts of home this is a perfect recommendation. The views from the living room and dining room seem to go on for miles. We will definitely be back! Hide
