We had a wonderful time at Croft Farm cottage, it was warm and inviting from the minute we got there. Plenty of space for 5 adults and ideally positioned to explore Buttermere. We enjoyed plenty of walks from the doorstep and finished off with a drink and dinner in both the Bridge Inn and Buttermere Court. Croft Farm Cafe serves great Sausage batchRead morees and Sykes Farm tea room does a lovely full English. A great place to stay if you love the outdoors and somewhere with space and comfort to relax in the evening. The welcome pack was also a great bonus surprise. Hide

Overall a good property in an excellent location with easy access to the Buttermere and Crummock lakes. However, be aware that access to the small garden is only permitted outside of the adjacent cafes opening hours. This is not mentioned on the website but is referenced within the cottage information booklet .

This place is fantastic. Well stocked and beautiful rooms with plush carpet. The welcome pack with lovely treats was amazing. Having a charger available was helpful. Croft House Farm was very comfortable and well-equipped accommodation for our group of 3 couples. The property is ideally located next to a couple of pubs and a cafe but it was very quiet. We spent a week walking and cycling from the door. There is so much to do locally that we didn't use our cars all week!
