A wonderful location, only a few metres from one of the best beaches on the Northumberland coastline. Part of a working farm, you will see a variety of birds wandering around the grounds making this a lovely place to stay with your family. The cottage is situated at the back of the sand dunes and spectacular sandy beach. A lovely walk takes you to beautiful Beadnell Bay for rock pooling and water sports. The village offers two good pub/restaurants, including one with its own micro-brewery and you can visit the freshwater nature reserve to experience more local wildlife. Visit the nearby villages of Seahouses, Bamburgh, Craster and Alnwick all a short drive away if you want to venture further afield.
Access the cottage from the rear door after parking at the side and head into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with dual aspect windows, a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you will need, including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The kitchen island is useful for storage and you can stand here chatting to the family chef while they prepare a meal. Enjoy sociable meals together at the dining table and then relax back on the comfortable leather seating in the lounge for an evening catching up with one another or watching a film on the TV/DVD or listen to some music on the CD/radio player or iPod docking station. The hallway leads from the lounge to the three beautifully appointed bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms and a spacious twin bedroom, all well furnished with wardrobes and drawers, so you have plenty of storage and the light and airy bathroom has a ‘P’ shaped bath and a shower over with WC.
Outside, the glazed door in the lounge leads out to a raised, decked balcony with a table and chairs for alfresco dining and a ramp leads down to the shared lawned area beyond. Private parking is available for two cars with additional free parking onsite near the property. Children can head to the shared play area with swings, slide and climbing frame.
