We had the most wonderful week at Jimmys Barn. I stayed with my children and our dog, and it couldnt have been a more perfect escape. The barn feels like a true ode to nature, both inside and out. Every comfort has been considered, and the kitchen is genuinely the best stocked Ive ever experienced in a short-term rental. It really did feel like a home from home. The location is great for exploring the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire. Lots of nice pubs in the surrounding villages. Lynda and Nigel are such kind and welcoming hosts. They went out of their way for us and made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. We left feeling rested, reconnected, and already thinking about when we can return. Highly recommend. The barn was lovely. Very comfortable and welcoming. Lots of thoughtful touches and so lovely to have dry wood for the wood burner. So kind of the owners to allow walking around the farm. Real bonus when you have dogs. Loved the Rayburn, wish I could have one at home. Would visit again.

We were a party of four adults, a toddler and two dogs. We really enjoyed our week at the barn. It is very rustic and remote but this is exactly what we were after. Great base to explore the local villages, with plenty of walks directly from the barn.

This cottage is an ideal place to take dogs. Both of the ones we took thoroughly enjoyed the use they could make of the farm, and the only downside is that our spaniel seems a bit disgruntled to have had to come home afterwards! Perhaps the most complimentary thing I can say is that we are already looking for dates to come again!
