Heading east, the River Wye (9 miles) offers opportunities for fishing, canoeing and leisurely walks. To the south-east, the stunning Wye Valley National Landscape leads down to the Forest of Dean (20 miles) offering some wonderful vistas for you to discover. Other local attractions include Goodrich Castle, Puzzlewood and the popular book town of Hay-on-Wye, all within 20 miles.

Stepping inside this beautifully reimagined barn, you will be greeted by the elegantly furnished open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with exposed stonework, oak beams and limestone flooring. At the other end of the room, the handsome dining area provides a fantastic spot for sharing a family feast which you can rustle up in the light-filled, thoughtfully arranged bespoke crafted kitchen. The ground floor also features the first of the property’s four pretty bedrooms: a relaxing double with exposed brickwork and light pouring in through the original stable doors. This room has an en-suite wet room, and the property has an additional ground-floor WC. Heading up the oak staircase, the galleried landing on the first floor leads to three further bedrooms, all with original wooden beams. You will have a choice between a charming twin room, a cosy high-ceilinged single, and a lovely king-size room which has a handy en-suite shower room. The accommodation is rounded off with an elegant bathroom.

Heading outside, step into the generous garden to enjoy a lovely large lawn and a sweet patio area with ample furniture, providing an ideal spot for a BBQ on a sunny afternoon.
