A fabulous cottage in a fantastic location! The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need. It is a very spacious property and there was plenty of room for us (4 adults, 2 children and a dog) to enjoy family time together as well as having space to retreat to for quieter activities when needed. The cottage is located on a working farRead morem, something the children loved and set in a beautiful village. Its an ideal location to explore the local area and has the added bonus of being in close proximity to a dog friendly beach. We really enjoyed our stay at Manor Farm and would highly recommend it. We are hoping to return again in the future. Hide

Lovely, spacious well equipped cottage on a working farm. We especially enjoyed the garden where you can sit and catch the sun and listed to the birds, cows and sheep. We took four dogs who all had a lovely time with visits to the beach, Parke National Trust site and Dartmoor.

Cottage was very welcoming, warm and cannot fault it. Only suggestion is to advise people to use main entrance to property as alternative is a bit challenging.

Hannah and Steve are so friendly and welcoming. The cottage was perfect, we had everything we needed plus the bonus of a thoughtful welcome hamper which was a beautiful touch. I used to have a cleaning business and very much have gone over the property with a fine tooth comb as I do everywhere I stay and usually I will find one or two things missedRead more however the cottage was entirely spotless, the attention to detail of the cleaner is beyond incredible. Great work Hannah & Steve we cant wait to stay again. Hide

The cottage is beautifully decorated and was scrupulously clean. It had everything I needed. There were a couple of dog bowls and towels near the door to the garden, which was a nice touch. There was a gift of eggs, tea, coffee, biscuits and a bag of treats for each of the dogs, as well as some milk in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. The dogsRead more were appreciative of the treats and participated in a scramble egg breakfast with the humans as there was plenty of eggs for all. The couple who run it were very welcoming and helpful. It is quite difficult to find places that will take lots of dogs - I have four noisy scottish terriers. I was a bit concerned, on the first night, that the youngest one might have disturbed the owners next door. He likes barking at night and joined in when the rooster started crowing at around 4:00am, and occasionally they all howl together. I was relieved that the walls were thick enough to contain the noise in the house and not disturb anyone else. The garden resisted any escape from my escape artist (the last time we stayed in a holiday cottage Alba had climbed the 8 foot wall within about 5 minutes of our arrival, and so I spent the week on high alert whenever I let them out). We really enjoyed our stay. The property is well equipped, comfortable and attractive. We loved the situation which is quiet, on the edge of the village and actually in the farmyard. We felt very at home and found our hosts to be helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Though we don't have dogs the downstairs space seemed to be appropriate foRead morer them. We would be happy to return. Hide
