Gather here, after a day of adventure, to share delicious, home-cooked feasts around the wooden dining table. Also on this floor is an inviting twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Heading up to the first floor, you’ll find a cosy lounge with a roaring open fire set for your arrival and original sash windows framing peaceful views of the garden. Unwind here, on the plush seating, reading a book or enjoying a film on the Smart TV. This floor has a gorgeous double bedroom with crisp linens and statement wallpaper. Rounding off this level is a family bathroom and a handy utility room with a washing machine. The remaining bedrooms – a sumptuous double and a twin – are located on the second floor.

Outside, to the front of the property, is a sunny patio area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ for al fresco entertaining. You are also welcome to enjoy the owner’s grounds, which envelop the property. !6/8/2025 19/8/2025 We loved our stay in the Old Wing it was perfect for 2 couples and a family catch up. We wanted an authentic Scottish stay for our Australian family and it was everything we hoped for and more. The dining table was perfect for conversation, grazing and card games, and the outside table was great for enjoying the late afteRead morernoon sun. All the special touches made the house so wonderful the upcycled and reclaimed furniture and pieces placed so carefully. The favourite corner was the radio and the blackboard complete with chalk ready to go and the egg house of course. Beds are so comfortable and we all slept so well. Daily walks are a must the views are superb and the locals (2 and 4 legged) are friendly. And the chickens so calming and fun to watch and always there as soon as there is movement in the morning. For a big travel day, head for Rest and Be Thankful, Inverary, Loch Awe and to the Kilchrenan Inn ( https://www.kilchrenaninn.co.uk/ ) for lunch fabulous views all the way and worth the journey. We also enjoyed the conversations with Amanda and Ed and their journey to restore this wonderful property thank you for a fabulous stay Peter, Suzanne, Christine and Rob Hide

Can't recommend Old Wing at Drumhead enough! We had a beautiful yard to hang out in, a large kitchen for cooking (with great appliances and fresh free-range eggs!), and a big living room with a working fire place. The beds were all very clean and comfy, and overall it was a beautiful property. We were sad to leave it but hope to be back one day!
