Enjoyed a weeks stay in the beautiful cottage with breathtaking views. Added bonus of the track just across the way & a ten minute walk along it to a lovely pub. Stephen was a wonderful host, reacted promptly to a couple of minor issues on arrival. Heartily recommend this property (already booked to return before we left!!)

This is a superb cottage, great views and generally in a brilliant location with excellent beaches, walks, waterfalls etc. all close by. It's just a short walk across the field to the Mawddach trial. If you're feeling keen follow the Mawddach trial all the way to Barmouth across the 900m wooden bridge. It's a 14 mile round trip walk which we jusRead moret about managed, helped by a long half way rest at the Lobster Pot in Barmouth (great seafood linguine!). The George III pub is also just a few minutes walk away. We ate there most nights, great food and service and very dog friendly. Would also recommend the Gwyndy team room just down the road in Dolgellau, and Dylans restuarant just outside Barmouth. Hide

Stunning house and views. Had everything we needed for chilled week away. You do need a car to get to a local shop, 5 minutes drive away. Barmouth beach is 20 minutes drive away and the nearest pub is 10 minutes walk down the trail, with gorgeous food. Lots walk to explore too. It was the perfect break we wanted.

This cottage is an absolute gem. If you are looking for a vacation, away from the stress and carnage of everyday life, then this is definately for you. A short walk to the welsh countryside or a very short drive to the infamous walking routes around the rolling hills. We can strongly recommend this cottage for your vacation. Thanks

The cottage was a delight, very clean and comfortable, good sized rooms and plenty of head room. The facilities are all clean, modern and in full working order. The wood fired hot tub takes a while to get going but there is something quite magical sitting in there in the evening, listening to the sheep and watching the stars come out. The setting Read morefar surpassed what we were expecting. Quite often the brochure photos can be misleading when it comes to showing a properties location (i.e. very close to busy road or overlooking neighbours) Minfford, however, is in a very secluded and peaceful location, with the most stunning views. The enclosed outside space was excellent for our young inquisitive pup and after a good walk round I felt comfortable to let her explore the area safely. Most of all, the property owner was friendly and welcoming and we felt comfortable contacting him with any queries we had, of which he rectified quickly and efficiently. Hide
