We had a three night stay at the Grain Silo,it was very peaceful and we very much enjoyed the quiet. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable, we had most things we needed. We loved hearing the owls at night and enjoyed watching the horse riders at the riding school. While there,we went to The Blue Pool, which is just a few minutes down the roaRead mored from the silo.It was very enjoyable walking round the blue pool and reading all the information as we walked round. Spent a good couple of hours there,we can recommend, the cafe on site, is lovely with a lovely big log burner. Hide

Such a wonderful property. The bedroom has the most incredible views and it was all very comfortable and homely, despite being a totally round house. So much to see just a short drive away. Everyone we met was warm and friendly. Reccomend a walk over the hill to the cake house and farm. Just amazing.

Querky, comfortable accommodation in a very peaceful rural setting. The grain silo is well fitted out and it was lovely to see how the owners had created it. There is a lot to do and see in the surrounding area with Corfe Castle being particularly close by. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

This was a lovely comfortable and slightly quirky conversion of a Grain Silo. The furnishings and general level of equipment was excellent and the outlook over the estate was fantastic. Ideally situated to visit the coast and for walks along the Purbeck Ridge.

We already know Purbeck well, so we leaped at the opportunity to stay in the heart of this very special part of the Dorset coast. The Grain Store is like the Dr Who Tardis..it's deceptively spacious & very well kitted out. We had a very comfortable week and look forward to coming again next year. A perfect base for us on Purbeck.

We may be the first to review The Grain Silo as its fairly new, so hopefully many more reviews to come we just had the most incredible 4 days staying in this haven of tranquility and it ticked every single box. We love this area of Dorset and try to find quirky places to stay. We initially looked for somewhere with a sea view, which this doesnt quiRead morete have but its so near the coast anyway and the views were drop dead gorgeous, we made the right choice. The Silo itself is an architectural success and its amazing how light and airy it is inside and how much space there is!! The living area and kitchen really do work well and the bedroom is fantastic with the ceiling reaching up to the full height of the silo, a lovely domed feature. With the balcony door open, its a stunning place to be, just listening to nature and even more of that view. Wow! The photos dont do it justice, sat having a glass of something or reading a book, looking across a paddock with horses gently grazing in front of you, the field disappearing away to woodland below and the Dorset countryside reaching out far into the distance. At the top of the slope a stunning church and to the left farm outbuildings / equestrian centre that look just right with the trees sloping away up the hill behind. One of the most peaceful places weve visited and theres an array of wildlife all around, from all the birds flitting about, housemartins flying right up to the balcony window, owls hooting as dusk falls and deer seemingly everywhere!! We would not hesitate to recommend / return. Andy and Shelley have clearly sunk a lot of time and effort into getting the conversion to the brilliant standard it is. They were close by if anything was needed but very relaxed and just left us to enjoy our stay. Thanks again for a wonderful break and keep up the good work, youve already achieved great things here and we hope more to come!! Hide
