This rural retreat offers the best of both worlds – it’s quiet and secluded yet just 2 miles from the village of Llangadog. The handsome market towns of Llandovery and Llandeilo are 4 miles and 9 miles away so, between the three places, you have a wide range of shops, restaurants and pubs to choose from. A notable local feature is Y Garn Goch (6 miles) a hill with two Iron Age hill forts, and the dramatic ruins of Carreg Cennen Castle are 13 miles. Brecon Beacons National Park is 4 miles away.

The property has superb views over fields and pastures, and stylish interiors with contemporary touches. The spacious modern kitchen has all you need to rustle up a feast and features a Welsh dresser and an island table with stools; the dining room comfortably seats ten so the whole group can dine together. There is a sofa seating area with a Smart TV turning the kitchen/diner into a room for all of the family. Enjoy a cosy evening in the lounge watching a film on the Smart TV. in the winter months the real-effect fire will keep you warm. For a bit of friendly competition head to the games room. A utility room and a shower room are also on the ground floor. Head upstairs for the bedrooms – two doubles with en-suite shower rooms, one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. The family bathroom features a free-standing oval bath and a shower cubicle, and there’s a separate WC on this floor too.

The large enclosed garden includes a patio area with lounge seating, picnic tables and a fire pit. Light up the BBQ for al fresco suppers or spend a couple of hours in the hot tub with bubble jets catching up while you look out at the amazing views.

Lovely farmhouse, with everything you would need provided for a good holiday . Any problems we had ( heating) were sorted very quickly by the owner. Would stay again.

A lovely farmhouse in a beautiful area with fabulous views from the hot tub, which was used constantly during our stay. Property needs cleaning in some areas as plenty of cobwebs! Also be worthwhile fixing loose hooks and soap trays and any potential dangers, especially if you have children. Would only recommend IF attention is paid to the abovRead moree! Hide

Just returned from a relaxing family break at this lovely old farmhouse with views to die for! The farmhouse was cosy and comfortable with enough space for all of us to be able to spread out and do our own thing if needed. It was the perfect spot for an extended family get-together.
