The farm is surrounded by peaceful meadows and ancient woodland, while the boutiques, cafes, galleries and antiques shops of Holt are just 7 miles away. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the coastline is filled with riches for nature lovers, with a grey seal colony at Blakeney (11 miles), bird reserve at Cley next the Sea (12 miles), and Stiffkey saltmarshes (9 miles). This leads into a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob and microwave to prepare meals at home, which can be enjoyed in the adjoining dining room, a few steps up. Down the hall, the comfortable living room is the perfect place to snuggle up after a long country walk, with a wood burner to warm your toes on chilly winter days. The bathroom with WC and shower over the bath completes the downstairs. Up the steep stairs, there are two tastefully-decorated bedrooms, one with a super-king-size bed and the other with two singles. Off the twin room is a cosy snug with beanbags and a Smart TV – ideal for the kids to have a space of their own.

Outside, mature lawned gardens wrap around the property, bordered by shrubs and bushes. Guests can prepare meals on the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco, or simply enjoy a glass of wine on a warm evening with the scent of wisteria wafting in the breeze.

Lovely quiet and peaceful cottage in the countryside. Garden is fabulous - great place to sit and watch the sunset/sunrise over the fields. Well-equipped and very clean. Would be handy to have a loo upstairs but not sure if that would be possible.

Beautiful cottage in a great location close to the coast. Loved the garden and surrounding countryside. Great views and lots of wildlife to enjoy. Cosy cottage with wonderful log burner which we made use of due to the chilly evenings. Couldn't fault it, would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a very peaceful location. The garden in particular is superb - generous size and very pretty. This has to be one of the best cottages we've stayed at in the UK and we would definitely return here if ever back in Norfolk. You will not be disappointed!

Lovely cottage, very peaceful. Nice comfy bed. Loads of places to visit. Went to some of the nature reserves like Sculthorpe Moor and Pensthorpe. Parked at Blakeney and walked to Cley next the sea. Very nice bakers at Blakeney. Definitely go back again and recommend. Only downer was the weather which stopped us making the most of the garden suppoRead moresed to be summer. Hide

Had a lovely time and would stay there again. We saw a hare staring in at us through the main window on two occasions and also had the delight of seeing a deer with the tiniest baby you could ever have seen. Magical.
