An impressive barn conversion near the North Wales coast, this stylish home has been thoughtfully designed to the very last detail and offers friends or families a luxurious retreat surrounded by the beauty of Snowdonia National Park. This quiet stretch of Welsh coastline has endless miles of untouched beaches, the closest being 2.5 miles away. The popular seaside town of Tywyn is 5 miles from your door, where you find all your local amenities, including a traditional cinema, cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. For the walkers, the Wales Coast Path is easily accessible or you can head inland to take in the dramatic scenery on the route to the peak of Cader Idris. The Talyllyn Railway, originally built to carry slate and now carrying people, has been steaming from Tywyn into stunning Southern Snowdonia since 1865, taking in some incredible scenery along the way. Further afield, the ruined castle of Castell y Bere sits in a gorgeous hidden valley and is well worth a day trip.

Entering the open-plan kitchen/diner, discover a light-filled, contemporary room with many original features. Exposed wooden A-frames sit atop stone pillars, and dual-aspect patio doors allow natural daylight to flood in while framing the far-reaching countryside views. The kitchen is modern yet maintains a country cottage feel and comes fully equipped for all your culinary needs. A large, solid dining table takes centre stage. A separate lounge is cosy and inviting with sumptuous seating, a Smart TV and a welcoming wood burner. The first of the three bedrooms is also located on the ground floor, comprising twin beds and an en-suite shower room. A good size utility room and a wet room can also be found on this floor. Upstairs are two attractive bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and stylish en-suite bathroom, the other with a double bed and en-suite shower room featuring a spacious double shower.

Surrounded by its own enclosed grounds, you have front and rear patio areas to make the most of the sunshine throughout the day. The rear patio, with a rattan corner sofa and outdoor dining table, extends to a lawned garden area and enjoys beautiful views over agricultural land towards the Snowdonia hills. A gas BBQ is available for guests to use. Charging point for electric cars - £50 charge per car, payable on booking.

We found the cottage extremely well fitted out, clean and comfortable. The conversion had been very tastefully and well thought out, and made for a good holiday layout. We were made very welcome by the owners and would strongly recommend it.

Beudy Bodowen was such a good choice for our autumn break. We wanted somewhere that was quiet but near enough to a town for shopping and restaurants and a cottage that offered nearby opportunities for exploring. We got all of that and so much more. Not only is Beudy Bodowen stylish and easy on the eye it is uncluttered and practical. The kitchRead moreen is well equipped with lots of crockery and cutlery. Theres plenty of pans and trays for cooking and lots of fridge and freezer space. Theres plenty of seating and a lovely big table. A beautiful, well-maintained house. Although it's on the street, it's still quiet and safe. There is plenty of space for three adults and a lovely three-year-old. We can recommend it with a clear conscience. We would have liked to stay longer. We will really miss the sheep, cows, and rabbits.
