This converted cattle barn is the ideal place to enjoy a little bit of peaceful luxury in the quiet Norfolk village of Wood Dalling. Surrounding the cottage are plenty of cycle paths and footpaths with wildlife in abundance. The pretty hamlet of Heydon with its green, tearoom and pub is within cycling distance – just over 2 miles, or, a little further away are the historic market towns of Reepham (5 miles) and Aylsham (9 miles) which both offer a range of amenities. The iconic Norfolk Broads are just over 20 miles and are ripe for exploring both on foot and by boat, or for history lovers, why not visit the fascinating city of Norwich (17 miles), or the National Trust properties of Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall which are 8 and 13.5 miles respectively.

Stepping into the single storey barn, head through to the open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area. The floor to ceiling patio doors allows the light to flood in. The kitchen/diner is equipped with everything you need to rustle up your evening meal. The lounge area is the perfect place to relax, open the patio doors; on a sunny day watch the younger guests playing in the garden. The barn boasts three exquisite bedrooms all with exposed beams there are two king size bedrooms and a twin bedroom all having an ensuite with rainfall shower, the ‘Heifer’ bedroom also has a wall mounted TV.

Heading outside through the lounge patio doors you will find a fabulous enclosed private garden a resin patio area with a table and benches and garden furniture ,the perfect spot to relax listen to the birds, read a book or enjoy a BBQ

We had a fantastic stay at The Cattle Barn. The property is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The cottage amenities were excellent thank you, good quality and all that was needed. More plug sockets in the kitchen would be helpful e.g. a double plug by the kettle, one for the toaster would have been very useful.

Fantastic property. We have stayed in many over the years and using different companies. But this place was really lovely. All ground floor no steps not even outside. Only one thing we felt it needed was handrails in all the showers as 3 of us all have mobility issues.

The Cattle Barn is a lovely property in an ideal location to visit many places in Norfolk. The owner (Rachel) has thought of everything and the cottage has every piece of equipment that you could possibly need. Its also tastefully and beautifully decorated and furnished making it feel like a home rather than a rental property. It was also spotlesslRead morey clean with fresh smelling bed linen and soft, fluffy towels. The bedrooms are spacious with good size en-suites containing a huge and powerful shower. The garden is completely enclosed and well-maintained with a patio table, chairs and parasol plus other comfy chairs with cushions. Theres ample parking for 2 cars directly outside of the cottage. The cottage was very comfortabke, clean and well equipped. Owners were really welcomimg and helpful. The location wad vood with plenty of places to visit. Be aware that roads can be quite narrow and have grass growing in the middle so maybe not suitable for low cars.

We loved the cottage and its amenities. Welcome pack was lovely. Everything spotless and well presented. Plenty of immediate hot water, very well thought out. For our family group however we found the 2.5 miles via Corpusty on a single track road not preferred for us but if you want that type of access this is definitely worth booking,

Thank you for amazing accommodation. Everywhere was spotless, very generous on equipment. Beds were extremely comfortable (and we are fussy when it comes to mattresses). Would definitely consider returning as is a good location for going for many days out around Norfolk.
