This is a really lovely barn conversion, well equipped and decorated, and making great use of the space. It has a sunny terrace with table and chairs for meals etc, weather permitting. It is on a dairy farm, with the farmhouse over the road and Rhian, Eryl and family are very friendly and helpful. The farm feels deep in the country, but fast roads Read moreare only a short distance away, making it possible to visit Chester, Conwy and further in less than an hour. A good pub (The Crown) is about a mile away, with others only a short drive. All in all, one of the best cottages weve stayed in. Hide

Great cottage, facilities, location. Local pubs and restaurants fantastic for those days you want a break from cooking. Close to everything whilst having that super rural get away from it feel. Highly recommend.

The barn conversion provides excellent and really comfortable accommodation. We really enjoyed our week's holiday here which was made all the more special with fresh flowers and Halloween decorations. Ample welcome pack of wine, milk, biscuits and cake was also much appreciated. We also really enjoyed using the indoor hot tub to relax in during thRead moree dark evenings of October. Property is very well placed to visit Snowdonia, North Wales coast, Llangollen and Chester and is only a 5 minute drive off the A55 North Wales Expressway, yet is in a very quiet and rural location. Owners are friendly and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending this first class holiday accommodation - it is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. Hide

The barn conversion has been done to a very high standard. It was warm clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome gift was a bonus and greatly appreciated, the towels in both bathrooms were great size and quality, best we have had. The added touch of fresh flowers throughout the house was a lovely touch. We used the hot tub mosRead moret days and it was very relaxing. I think I can say it was the best we had slept in a long time,so much so we didn't hear the milk tanker or the bin men. The calves were gorgeous too. Well worth a calm, relaxing and recuperating stay. Highly recommend. Hide

Our best recommendation is that this is our second visit and as before Eryl and Rhian were lovely hosts. I forgot to specify how we wanted the second room set up and Rhian remembered how we were set up before and contacted me to ensure it was right, which was very thoughtful. The highlight has to be meeting the new calf that was born that morningRead more at 2am as she was brought to the nursery. It is an excellent place to stay when exploring the area and the Cherry Pie Inn just down the road provides an excellent meal when you don't want to cook. Highly recommended. Hide
