A warm welcome from the owners and they were very helpful when extra equipment was required for my disabled wife. The property has lovely views from the patio and hot tub. Watching the swallows and red kites was particularly entertaining. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings.

A spectacular view from the hot tub (pictures dont do it justice). Red kites hovering above in the afternoons. A great location for pottering around the coast.

Lovely bungalow in an ideal location. Great to be able to walk out to local amenities such as coastal walks, shop, pub, butchers and chippy. Lovely places to visit by car as well. Bungalow was very clean. Please note the lovely dogs are present ALL the time when you are in the property (even in snow and hail) as the property is open. They sit stariRead moreng in at the doors. We love animals, so we felt sorry for them in bad weather but I guess they are used to it. Perhaps some tenants have fed them in the past, hence why they stare in. They are always there when you go in the hot tub, so would imagine be with you in Summer when you sit out. Think they are outdoor dogs that stay in the barn, but they are friendly and do not bark much. Owners are always on hand if you have any problems. Highly recommend The Hive for somewhere to eat out. We went twice and caught the bus the second time which was only 10 min journey into Aberaeron. Would stay again. Hide

Excellent facilities. My mum is in a wheelchair, and they had just had a rise and recline chair put in, so my mum was able to sit in that instead of sitting in her chair for the holiday that normally happens. The owners were excellent and accommodating. Even before we got there, they made sure the one bedroom was set up for my parents with plenty oRead moref room to move around. A nice welcome from the lovely owners and a welcome pack. A beautiful cottage with sea views. Amazing location being on a hillside. The cottage has plenty of space inside and everything you would expect in a holiday home and more. The beds are very comfortable and not too soft or hard. Everywhere was spotless. Just like being at home. There is plenRead morety of space to park outside the door. The lane to the cottage is one car wide but we never met anything on there all the week we stayed. The cottage is on a working farm but the entrance to the farm is up the lane so we were never bothered by farming traffic. The farm house was a nice distance away so very private. The cottage is semi detached but we never heard any noise at all from the neighbours. They do park in the same area as you and walk by the front door but that is all. They have their own outside space. The hot tub was a lovely extra (very private) and we used it every evening and watched the sun go down over the sea. There are farm dogs wandering around all the while and they give you a nice welcome. We had my granddaughter in a wheelchair and she could get around the cottage with ease. Not completely disability friendly but we had no problems. No bathroom hand rails and low sofas. The areas around are nice for visiting. In the village of Llanon there is a lovely fish and chip shop. It is a must try. Aberaeron has a nice harbour to walk around and plenty of little shops and drinking places. The Hive is nice for a meal or just an ice cream made with honey. Plenty of parking spaces. A bit further is Aberystwyth with the bigger shops. A beautiful flat very long promenade with a ruined castle at one end. A pier in the middle of the promenade with gaming machines and a place to eat and drink. Dj in the evenings. Plenty of seating along the very wide promenade. Some nice beaches around but some with limited parking. The cottage is in a good area to go north or south along the coast for a visit. All in all the cottage is beautiful and in a lovely area. We are planning to be going back again. We would highly recommend it. Hide
