You don’t have to go far to explore the farm’s woodland walks or join the footpath running mere metres from your door. Despite the tranquil surroundings and stunning views, the cottage is less than a mile from the village of Pontardawe, with a selection of local shops, pubs, a bank and many places to eat and drink. There is also a supermarket 2 miles away. The historic harbour city of Swansea (8 miles) is home to The National Waterfront Museum and an excellent shopping centre. Children will love Swansea's water park, with a 50m pool and numerous slides and rides. 12 miles away is the Gower Peninsular, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering superb beaches and many coastal activities. 11 miles to the north is the Brecon Beacons National Park, with breathtaking scenery and fantastic trails for walkers of all abilities.
This peaceful detached cottage shares a courtyard with one other cottage on site. Upon entering the open-plan kitchen/diner, you are met by a farmhouse dining table and stylish fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar to grab a bite on the go. The light and airy living room has a 50" Smart TV and offers beautiful countryside views that can be enjoyed from the comfort of the plush leather sofas. Upstairs, two cosy double rooms also look out onto the surrounding countryside, as does the bunk room. There are two contemporary bathrooms on this first floor, both with half-size bathtubs and a shower. There is also a shared laundry room with a tumble dryer.
Outside is a private patio and a summer house with a picnic bench overlooking 0.5 acres of enclosed shared lawns and the lush countryside beyond. There is a BBQ area is also shared with the other cottage. There is also private parking at the property.
