This property trumps one that I have been visiting for the past thirty years which has 5 star rating, but nothing like as good as this property. I would certainly book this place again in the future.

This is a beautiful aea and a lovely cottage with so many extra touches that make for a very restful and comfortable stay. Thank you for looking after us so well Iola and Elwyn; from the delicious goodies in the welcome pack, to the recommendations of good places to eat and enjoy yummy coffee and cakes (especially if you're a coeliac). Our favouritRead morees were 'Torrent' for delicious evening meals, and 'Roberts' for good coffee and gluten free cakes. The weather was very rainy the week of our stay, but we still managed to get out most days and enjoy walking and cycling routes. A favourite past-time was watching the birds on the feeders, and listening to the barn owls at night. All in all a super cottage that we'd be happy to return to. Hide

A peaceful and relaxing break in the perfect location. Close enough to town for all the essentials, yet far enough away to be surrounded by just nature. The weather was fairly abysmal, but that didn't stop us undertaking different activities each day (there's plenty to do nearby), and the few days we had that were fine were spent on some lovely waRead morelks directly from the house. We would definitely like to stay again if revisiting the area ..... which is highly likely, as there's still much more to see and do. Hide

This wonderful cottage is located in a private location just above the town of Dolgellau. The only sound one hears outside the cottage is the occasional bleat of sheep in the nearby fields and the wonderful birdsong from the many various birds that visit the area surrounding the cottage. Idyllic is the only word to describe the location of this lRead moreovely cottage, which has been renovated and furnished with such love, care, and attention to detail. It is wonderfully equipped throughout with everything that one could need for a really comfortable stay. There was a Welcome Pack of locally sourced goodies waiting in the kitchen for us on arrival, which was a nice touch, and it set the tone for the rest of the week, which was spent exploring the stunning countryside mainly in the car, as our hiking days sadly are behind us!! All in all a fabulous week spent here and it goes without saying that a return visit is on the cards. Hide
