Property code: OC-489194

This collection of three attractive stone cottages is perfect for a big family get-together or a friends’ reunion. They are set on a small working farm amongst the gently undulating countryside of the beautiful Llyn Peninsular. Guests can explore the area on foot and are welcome to take a tour of the farm with the owners and meet some of the animals. The village of Sarn Mellteyrn is just a quarter mile from the cottages and has several shops and pubs as well as a pottery. The long sandy beach at Penllech is 3.5 miles away and is the closest beach to the cottages. There are also many more within easy reach. The popular seaside town of Abersoch is 6.5 miles away and offers a great range of water sports to try as well as some fantastic local pubs and restaurants. The popular surfing beach of Porth Neigwl is 9 miles away and is great for beginners and improvers alike. There are golf courses galore all around the peninsular and mile upon mile of beautiful coastal walking to enjoy.

The cottages are all stone-built conversions and have many attractive features throughout. Each is characterised by exposed stonework, wooden beams and stylish design and decor.

Cottage 1 is the largest and sleeps seven in three bedrooms. The open-plan living area includes a lounge with two comfortable sofas and a fully equipped oak kitchen/diner. The downstairs bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite level entry shower room. Upstairs guests will find a large master bedroom with a king-size four-poster bed. There is also a spacious bedroom with three single beds and a luxurious bathroom featuring a whirlpool bath and a separate shower. All rooms are inviting and beautifully finished.

Cottage 2 sleeps five people in two bedrooms. This cottage also features an open-plan living area with a double-height lounge, wooden beams and exposed stonework. The cosy lounge has an inviting seating area and there’s a homely kitchen/diner. Guests will find a spacious bedroom on the ground floor with a four-poster double bed and en-suite bathroom with a whirlpool bath and separate shower. Upstairs in another large bedroom featuring a double and a single bed as well as an en-suite shower room.

Cottage 3 sleeps four in two bedrooms. This is an open beamed, first-floor apartment with a spacious L-shaped living room with tiled underfloor heating. At one end is a fully equipped kitchen/diner while the lounge area offers a comfortable leather sofa, easy chairs and a wood burner. The old beams have been left exposed, giving a light and spacious feel to the cottage. The master bedroom is a double and the second bedroom has a full-size bunk bed. Both rooms share the use of a stylish shower room with a heated towel rail.

Outside each cottage is a patio area overlooking the garden. The large extended garden is a fabulous, enclosed shared area for the exclusive use of guests staying at the cottages. It includes a gas BBQ, a set of swings and a football goal, as well as a playhouse/climbing frame with a slide and a fantastic trampoline. It’s a wonderfully large and rambling garden where the whole group can relax and unwind. There’s plenty of space for group meals and games as well as for some solo time relaxing with a good book or simply snoozing in the sunshine.

First class accommodation which comfortably housed our family, which spanned three generations. The facilities are of a high quality and everything was very clean and well maintained, including the fabulous garden. The owner was welcoming and helpful, and we thought the wine etc in the cottages was a lovely touch. It was only a short drive to a numRead moreber of beaches so in a great position. We would highly recommend it. Hide
