You can fully immerse yourself in the countryside and overlook the far reaching views across Dartmoor National Park, whilst being only 3 miles away from Newton Abbot, the closest town to the property where you can order takeaway if you didn't fancy cooking, grab a food shop or visit the Race Course. 5 miles from the cabin is Teignmouth, a town filled with history, Georgian buildings and some great restaurants to enjoy local seafood. Slightly further afield, Paignton Zoo is only 10 miles away and Torquay Harbour is 8 miles away.
Enter the property into a warm and open plan kitchen, dining and living room. This property has been beautifully designed and made with love and care at the forefront. The owners have built the property using trees cut from their own woods and using their threshing machine. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and offers appliances to cater for the cooks in the family. There is a breakfast bar dining area with four bar stools. Across the other side of the room is the cosy lounge, featuring two plush soft leather sofas, a coffee table, wall mounted Smart TV and views overlooking the resident farm animals and across Dartmoor. A washing machine is located in the cupboard under the stairs and there is also a downstairs WC. On the left is the master bedroom with king-size bed, hanging rail, bedside cabinets, bedside lights and a chest of drawers. The master bedroom has an en-suite with shower unit, WC and hand basin. There is a balcony off the master bedroom overlooking the Sawmill to the side of the property and into the woods. On the right of the landing is bedroom two with twin beds (these can be made into a super king-size on request when booking), with bedside cabinets and lamps, chest of drawers and windows overlooking the woods to the side of the property. Bedroom two boasts an en-suite shower room with WC and hand basin.
The property has a large driveway to the front with ample parking. There is a feature vintage tractor in the front terrace along with a large wooden picnic bench. To the side of the property is a feature threshing machine that guests are invited to enjoy whilst on holiday. A great place for children to investigate and eat lunch in or a teenager to have some peace and quiet to read a book. Guests are also welcome to explore the owner’s grounds, where they may enjoy meeting the resident animals.
