Conveniently set approximately 1 mile off the B3162 in Filford, this property offers the best of both worlds as it is surrounded by rolling countryside, including iconic Colmer’s Hill, yet is only 3.5 miles from the coast. The hamlet of Salwayash (1 mile) provides a great base for touring with popular attractions including Symondsbury, West Bay, Golden Cap, Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Burton Bradstock all within 9 miles. Local amenities can be found in the eclectic town of Bridport (3 miles), as well as a good range of independent shops and eateries. Pick up the South West Coast Path or head inland and hike up Lewesdon Hill (4.5 miles) and Pilsdon Pen (6.5 miles), where you will find incredible views of this verdant part of Dorset. Located on a secluded farm with stunning views across Dorset’s countryside where you can either relax with uninterrupted views or explore the local area.

This staddle stone converted grain barn has been brought back to life by the current owners with locally sourced oak from the farm. Take the three steps leading you up into the property where you will find an open-plan living space with a double bed, seating in front of the Smart TV, a kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a shower room with a WC. Enjoy an evening relaxing in front of the electric wood fire whilst taking in the views from the windows and stable door.

Heading outside, you will be welcomed to a private garden area where you will find a BBQ area, a fire pit and garden furniture to enjoy a night under the stars or a morning coffee ready for the day ahead.

Lovely location on a working farm. The hosts were friendly and hospitable. The welcome pack of milk, orange juice, wine and biscuits was very much appreciated. Information leaflets were provided on some lovely local days out. 20 minutes drive from the coast.
