A stunning property, with a beautiful balcony that gives the perfect view of the surrounding countryside. Sitting just 4 miles away from Melton Mowbray itself, famous for its pork pies and Stilton Cheese, the atmospheric streets are home to a fantastic number of food and drinks festivals throughout the year. There is also a walking heritage trail that takes you on a journey through time and gives you a portal to the past. For more historical wonders, blended with some beautiful walking, why not visit Burrough Hill Country Park and the Iron Age hillfort, just 3 miles away, that commands views over the surrounding countryside for miles around. Oakham sits just over 13 miles away, with magnificent Georgian architecture and beautiful boutique shops to enjoy and explore. Just over 5 miles further takes you to Rutland water, offering fishing, water sports, and 24 miles of biking and walking trails.

Walking into the property, you can't help but notice the beautiful shire horses that are grazing peacefully in the field next to the driveway. You enter into the ground floor, where there is a small utility area to take off any coats and shoes. Walking up the stairs, you enter into the living area, where your eyes are drawn to the window, that leads out onto the balcony. The window not only makes for a wonderful feature of this bright and vibrant living space, but gives you that sense of being among nature. The well-equipped kitchen boasts all you need to create lovely meals any time of the day. There is a dining table and soft seating, all with the views beckoning in the background as the window offers the best backdrop to this living space. Walking out onto the balcony gives you the perfect view of not only the grazing shire horses; but the countryside beyond. Here you can sit with your morning drink and breakfast, or enjoy a cool evening drink, watching the natural world around you and taking in the wonderful views. The bedroom has plenty of room and again offers further views of the outstretched countryside, a large bed, dressing table and soft furnishings and pictures make for a relaxing room. The bathroom completes the property.

Along with the balcony, outside there is bench seating in a couple of areas, where you can unwind and relax, making the most of the views and sunshine.

We had an excellent long weekend at Robin's Nest and were very happy indeed. The quality, location, equipment and the welcome were all ideal and it was all as clean as a whistle. Would be very happy to recommend it to friends or come back ourselves. We've still got plenty to see in the area.
