This beautiful farmhouse is nestled in a private estate known for its scenic beauty and tranquillity. Visit the nearby village of Tighnabruaich (9 miles) where you can marvel at its villas, Victorian pier, palm trees and glorious views of the Kyles of Bute. Wander inside the art gallery to get eyes on the local talent and browse the many shops before sitting down to a well-deserved tea in one of the cafes. Portavadie Marina is 9 miles away and offers spa and leisure facilities; you can enjoy waterfront dining and linger over lunch or dinner, watching the yachts sail by. This area is known as Argyll’s Secret Coast and has some lovely marked coastal and forest walks that start right from your doorstep. The Kyles of Bute Golf Course is a well-kept secret. This stunning nine-hole course has great views from every tee. The Isle of Bute can be reached by a short ferry ride. Explore the island's attractions, including Mount Stuart (29 miles), or stroll along the beautiful sandy beaches.

On entering this beautiful home, step into the handy front porch where you will find the utility room and a separate WC; it is also the perfect place to leave your outdoor boots and shoes. Follow the hall through to the delightful country kitchen, which is perfect for preparing a family meal which can be eaten at the table here or in next door’s dining room – set the table and enjoy a family meal whilst planning your adventures. The delightful and welcoming lounge features a traditional wood burner and Smart TV. Open the French doors out to a raised deck and revel in the delightful loch vista. Completing the downstairs are two twin bedrooms with window seats to admire the scenery from and a family bathroom. Heading upstairs, you will find two light and bright bedrooms with super-king-size beds; both have en-suite shower rooms with countryside views over to the loch.

In the garden, a well-positioned seating area makes the very most of the outlook across fields to the loch. To the rear is an enclosed courtyard. There is also an outbuilding that houses a games room. As the Otter Estate extends to around 1,800 acres, there is plenty to explore for walkers and hill climbers amongst the rolling, forested landscape, and there is lots of local wildlife to spot along the way.

We had a truly relaxing holiday at the farmhouse with everything we required at hand. The stunning scenery is a big bonus and the beach is only a 5 minute walk away. Wellies are essential though as the farm trail can become waterlogged with the rain. If you want a truly relaxing break this is the place to stay.

A fabulous place! The views are stunning, the house itself was extremely clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed, even a smart tv for rainy days. We loved the location and walks to the beach each day, we never came across anyone which is exactly what we were after. The space was very dog friendly (we have a Doberman) and the garden wasRead more safe and enclosed, front and back. The house was well laid out in the sense that the dog wasnt in danger of getting his paws on things he shouldnt. Hide

A beautiful house in a stunning location. Perfect place to wind down and relax or explore surrounding areas. The short walk down the farmers track to the beach and Loch was perfect. Ferry crossings were straightforward.

We loved Fearnoch Farmhouse and we will be returning. The area is where my family are from so it felt like a home from home. The house is comfortable and has a lovely outside area that looks over the Loch.
