Welcome to this two-bedroom lodge nestled on a peaceful working farm and sleeping up to four guests. Begin your adventure by exploring the surrounding scenic countryside, immersing yourself in the tranquillity of the surroundings that Horningtoft has to offer. Take a leisurely stroll along the Norfolk Broads, a network of picturesque waterways teeming with wildlife, and perhaps even hire a boat to navigate the gentle waters. History enthusiasts will be captivated by the nearby Castle Acre Priory (11 miles), a medieval monastery steeped in rich heritage. Visit the market towns of Fakenham (5 miles) and Holt (18 miles), where you can spend an afternoon browsing eclectic shops and enjoy a choice of eateries. Nature lovers should not miss a visit to Pensthorpe Natural Park (7 miles), a breathtaking wildlife reserve boasting diverse habitats and fascinating bird species.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by an open-plan layout that seamlessly combines the lounge, kitchen, and dining area, creating a warm and inviting space for you and your guests. The well-equipped kitchen, with ample countertop space and storage cabinets, has everything you could need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, furnished with a stylish dining table that comfortably accommodates up to six guests. It's the perfect spot to enjoy meals together or gather for board games and lively conversations. The lounge area beckons you to unwind, with comfortable seating options for all guests. At the centre of the lounge, a Smart TV provides entertainment options for cosy evenings. The lodge boasts a master bedroom featuring a double bed with a Smart TV and plenty of storage. The second bedroom offers bunk beds, perfect for the kids. Both bedrooms share a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.
Moving outside, you'll discover a shared grassed area with outdoor seating perfect to enjoy al fresco meals or morning coffees. Or step inside the summerhouse where you can unwind, read a book, or simply enjoy the tranquillity of your surroundings. There is also a pond. The onsite communal laundry room, offers a washing machine, tumble dryer charged on a meter, there is a seating area with comfortable sofas and a selection of books and games

  • Please note there will be some construction work being carried out on the main farmhouse, so there may be building materials and rubble on show at the rear of the property
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Very well equipped property. Dogs are well looked after. Tea towels, bath towels and welcome pack provided.
