This cosy stone barn enjoys a rural location within the fringes of the village of Llanhennock, perfect for dog-loving couples with many walks available from the front door. The peaceful village is set on the summit of the high ridge on the old Roman road from Caerleon to Usk and is well-served with a welcoming village pub, great walking and stunning views. The vibrant market town of Caerleon, set on the River Usk, is just 2.5 miles away and is steeped in history. Here, you can step back in time to visit the Roman fortress, baths and castle. Usk, ‘the town of flowers’, is just 6 miles away, set on the River Usk with an 11th-century castle and the Rural Life Museum, as well as an eclectic range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. For walkers and cyclists, the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and Black Mountains are all accessible within 15 miles.

This detached barn is situated within the grounds of the owner’s home with privacy assured. Enter into the open-plan living space, which is perfect for a couple wanting to relax after a day out and about in the countryside. The lounge area offers comfortable seating with a TV. For dining, there is a table and chairs for two. The kitchen area is well equipped with everything you would need for preparing meals during your stay; a breakfast bar divides the space and is perfect for a morning coffee. From the living space, a hallway offers access to a double bedroom and a shower room.

To the front of the barn is a small area with a table and chairs. From here, you can watch the sunset, and there is also access to a small, grassed area.
