We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, peace & quiet was great. Weather was good, always a bonus, hot tub was a great extra, once you get the hang of it. Although there are chickens on the farm, very quiet & peaceful. Go prepared for all weather's, as if going on long walks, don't get caught out on the hills. The road up towards the cottage, a littleRead more tricky in places and narrow, just be aware of vehicles coming in opposite direction. The coal fire was another bonus, lovely for the chilly nights Hide

Such a perfect setting for a relaxing getaway - its so peaceful and feels miles away from the busyness of everyday life but with all modern comforts. We absolutely loved the coal fire - it made our evenings in the cottage so cosy. The hot tub was a lovely treat and Corinne was fabulous at helping get it started for us. The garden was great for our Read moredog - secure so he could wander around and he absolutely loved meeting the chickens and ducks! We will definitely return. Hide

Beautifully equipped cottage, great views and enclosed garden for our dog. Bonus was Teddy the resident horse in the paddock next to the cottage! Only thing we could recommend is better directions to the cottage, we spent a long time finding it , eventually coming across a horse rider who told us.. Maybe a sign at the end of the lane leading to it.Read more Hide
