This welcoming property is conveniently situated on the A354 which is the main access route to Blandford Forum (2 miles) and Dorchester (14 miles) where you will find a wide selection of amenities and eateries. Whichever direction you take, there is much to see and do, making this an ideal property for those wishing to tour this picturesque county. Within 20 miles is the awe-inspiring Jurassic Coastline, which is home to traditional seaside towns like Swanage and Weymouth as well as unspoilt beaches at Studland, Kimmeridge and Lulworth. Book a ferry from Poole Quay (15 miles) and take a trip over to the National Trust’s Brownsea Island. Visit the historic walled town of Wareham, the vibrant Wimborne Minster, the Kingston Lacy Estate, or the Tank Museum and Monkey World for a fun-filled day out.

A gated, shared driveway gives access to this detached single-storey property that has beautiful countryside views and sits adjacent to the owners’ home, yet with privacy assured. We had a great few days away, cottage clean and comfortable, good location (less than an hour to Longleat and 30 mins to lurworth cove, Dursley Dore and Corfe Castle). So relaxing having a coffee and reading in the summer house in the mornings/evenings. Thank you to Lou.

Hill View is in a great location for exploring Dorset, Devon and the New Forest. The cottage has all that is needed for an enjoyable break - it is one of the best equipped cottages that we have stayed in over the years. Hill View is a lovely modern, comfortable cottage with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Lou and Alex are wonderful hosts and left us a lovely selection of goodies. I was visiting my son for a week and the bungalow was a home from home. Beautifullly clean, spacious and had everything I needed. Nice views from the bungalow and only about four minutes from the centre of Blandford Forum by car. I had several interesting days out.
