Head further to Wasdale (16.6 miles) and the majestic Wastwater (20.3 miles), England's deepest lake.

Inside, the cosy lounge area with sofas and armchairs set around the coffee table and Smart TV and wood burner. The contemporary kitchen complements this room with a large dining table and is an ideal spot to enjoy a Lakeland breakfast or a beautiful home-cooked family dinner, which is down a few steps from the kitchen. Maybe a bit remote for some but the location is beautiful. The road to the farm is narrow but fine when you get used to it. Dogs have to be on a lead as it is a farm.

The cottage had everything you could ask for, and the owners came to check how everything was, which was kind. The garden area was superb for breakfast and enjoy in the evening. The place was very clean and the location was very remote which worked perfectly to disconnect.

Spacious open plan living area was perfect for cooking, eating and relaxing and the conservatory area was brilliant for dog drying and storing coats and boots. CleanRead more, functional bathroom. Location was ideal for coasts and lakes. We will definitely be back. Hide
