Borders the picturesque scenery of the Exmoor National Park, this beautiful property is situated on 300 acres of a working sheep farm. In the surrounding countryside there are great country walks to experience, local beauty spots to explore and activities to enjoy including riding, fishing, and moorland safari. Enjoy a meal in one of the wonderful character country pubs in the area. For those who want to balance the peace of the countryside with other pursuits, the historic market town of South Molton with its pannier market, antique shops and tea rooms is just 4 miles.

Upon entering this wonderful property, take a few steps down into the kitchen, where you can whip up a meal before heading over to the dining table for the evening. A few steps lead you up to the lounge which has a high apex ceiling, wood burner to give warmth no matter what the season and French doors, which provide access to the large terrace offering wonderful country views. The feature floor-to-ceiling windows in the lounge allow the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside to filter into the property, and these large, sliding doors from the dining area onto the terrace extends this space outside. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms, a king-size and twin that both have en-suite shower rooms, and offer wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.

Heading outside the stunning views will captivate you. Enclosed and private, dine on the terrace and enjoy your tranquil surroundings. There is also direct access to enjoy the field beyond which is shared with the next door holiday cottage and is occasionally used by the owners’ sheep.

First class accommodation, in an idyllic location. Close to the coast and within east reach of many attractions. With modern decor & great facilities, would highly recommend. Friendly hosts, close by if needed.

We have just returned from an incredible stay at the round barn. The place itself is visually stunning with the most breathtaking views of the Devon countryside. Katie was so incredibly welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will 100% be returning in the near future!

Whilst the cottage is along a narrow lane the remote-ness is well worth the drive. At night there is not a light to be seen anywhere and the silence magical. It is not possible to get a good night sky view from the cottage but a short walk along the approach drive will set you in an excellent viewing place.
