Escape day-to-day life, enjoy an abundance of walks, or just relax in this beautiful barn conversion. Peacefully tucked away within the owners' farm and their small touring site, just outside a pretty village with two pubs.

The barn is ideally situated in open countryside, yet charming village pubs are in abundance locally, with three within the parish. Enjoy walks directly from your doorstep or explore the Somerset Levels and the Quantock Hills which provide easy access to a vast choice of walks, cycle routes, fishing, and birdwatching. Weston-Super-Mare (16 miles) and Burnham-on-Sea (10 miles) are worth a visit with their golden sandy beaches, seaside shops, family entertainment and restaurants. Other attractions include Clarks Shopping Village (8 miles), Wookey Hole (14 miles), Glastonbury Tor (10 miles), and the beautiful cities of Wells (15 miles) and Bath (33 miles). Bridgewater carnival in November is located only 15 minutes away which the jubilee cart will be presented and makes their way around the towns in the South West, It is the biggest carnival in the UK.

You are welcomed into the delightful single-storey accommodation through the front door and into the hall. From here, head into the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with apex ceilings, exposed beams, bespoke lighting and French doors opening into the enclosed garden, a perfect place for a quiet, or romantic break away. Settle in for a snug evening with a feast, a bottle of wine and a film on the Smart TV. The perfectly equipped kitchen has an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine - it is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. Completing the accommodation is a king-size bedroom. The bathroom can be found opposite the bedroom with a bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside there is an enclosed courtyard garden, great for both you and your dog to relax in. Guests will find a table and chairs, and a charcoal BBQ. You will be very welcome to visit the farm and help feed the chickens, collect the eggs, meet the owners’ pets and see the animals in the pets’ corner. Lambing season takes place from March to the end of April, so in the spring, you can also help feed the lambs. There is ample off-road parking available.

  • 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week

Fantastic place to stay - great location only about 20-30 minute walk to the local shops and nearby pub. Plenty of walks for the dog and the enclosed garden meant we didn't have to worry about him wandering off in to a neighbouring field! This cottage is bright, airy, comfortable and perfectly set out for a quiet away from it all break. The bed and sofa were very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the garden is perfect for those taking their dogs with them. All the main places to visit are within a 20-30 minute drive with local pubs within a 5 minute drive. We had a lovely stay here, its so peaceful and there are so many walks on the doorstep. We also day tripped to Glastonbury, the Tor and Cheddar Gorge which are all well worth a visit. Tasteful conversion with elegant contemporary fittings on a working farm. Great base for Somerset attractions and coast. Lovely owners. Would recommend for a couple with one dog. Pleasant secure garden.

What a wonderful stay we had with our little dog Elvis. The garden was perfect size for him, the cottage itself is really modern and has everything you need, the bed is INSANELY comfortable, great kitchen area and bathroom was lovely. Location was fab and the family were so lovely, Hollie was a great host and invited us over to see the baby lambs wRead morehich was amazing to see. A lovely property, very comfortable, only let down was the WiFi, was poor causing the TV to cut out or buffer alot. The location is lovely and quiet, but there is nothing locally to walk too, the nearest pub has shut down.

Lovely well equipped beautifully decorated place. The bed is especially comfortable and the bathroom has a rain shower and a bath. There is secure garden for your dog . If you like walks there are plenty but we did find the village for pubs and shop a bit far to walk with our puppy.

The cottage is very well appointed with everything in perfect working. The seating is adequate for relaxing and soaking up the peace and quiet of the countryside Our chocolate fur baby seemed to enjoy a change of location as well.

A fantastic conversion of an old milking parlour, lovely calming colour scheme , some nice touches with decor. Extremely comfortable bed and again nicely decorated. Unfortunately the flooring has bubbled in places , not a hazard but detracts from the otherwise beautiful conversion. We had a lovely time. Moor View was extremely comfortable and clean. Lovely bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great place to get away, go for walks and visit the surrounding area. Garden was nice and secure for our dog. Really enjoyed our time here.

This cottage was of a really high standard everything had been thought of. It was comfortable and cosy at the same time. We take 4 to 5 cottages each year and this is up there with the best definitely a 5 star accommodation and we will certainly hope to return.

The cottage was up to a high standard and easy access to the cottage. Instructions on the electric hob would have been of help as I had only cooked on a gas hob. I eventually found out how to use by using my iPad. I did ask the farmers wife and was told she would send her son in law over to show how to use the hob which he did but a little late. Amazing barn conversation! Fantastic enclosed garden perfect for our small dog. Milk in the fridge and dog treats and towel were a nice treat. Tea and sugar , 1 dish cloth and 1 tea towel , washing up liquid all provided. Towels and hand soap provided. Bed was comfortable and barn was warm and cosy. Lovely property: clean, warm & well equipped. Lots of soft towels provided. Comfy bed, though a bit creaky as it's metal framed. Lovely open plan kitchen/lounge, however really noisy when it rains hard, which it did when we stayed so you cant hear the TV so bring books or board games. Lovely accommodation with open plan kitchen sitting room. Small garden with fencing about 5ft high and a latch gate with no bolt. You can park on concrete right outside which is great.
